At the end of November, KARD had k-pop fans buzzing as the hot co-ed group released its music video for “You In Me.” Now, the band has surprised audiences with a brand-new video, and it hopes to answer any questions you have about the first MV.
Over on Youtube, a music video for “Trust Me” was uploaded to KARD’s official channel. The chill track is part of the group’s second mini-album, and “Trust Me” is described as a prequel film to the “You In Me” video shared last month.
The sleek video begins with a very different aesthetic to “You In Me.” The co-ed team of singers is separated at first before they reunite for their choreography towards the chorus. “Trust Me” tells the story of a couple who is feeling distant from one another, and its laidback melody differs greatly from the electro-pop vibe of “You In Me.”
Oh, and if you have seen “You In Me,” then you know the couples mentioned in this song don’t get a happy ending. J.Seph and Matt end up as corpses while Somin and Jiwoo celebrate. Yikes!
If you are not familiar with KARD’s newest mini-album, it debuted on November 21. Its single “You In Me” was teased on social media leading up to its MV’s debut, and there was no warning about “Trust Me” before its video went live. So far, the 6-track album charted South Korea’s Gaon album chart at number eight and landed on Billboard’s US World Albums at number 4.

'Alita: Battle Angel' Releases First Trailer
It’s time for you to get your first-look at Alita: Battle Angel. 20th Century Fox just dropped the adaptation’s first trailer as you can see above.
If you have been keeping up with the journey of Alita: Battle Angel, you know it has taken awhile to reach fans. James Cameron secured rights to the franchise years ago, but the Avatar director struggled to get the project going until recently. Director Robert Rodriguez was eventually asked with overseeing the movie with Cameron acting as a co-producer, and audiences are interested to see how Rodriguez approached the movie.
After all, the director is known for his work on Sin City and Machete. Rodriguez’s work has a very stylistic feel, and the first trailer for Alita: Battle Angel shows it off.
In the past, Cameron has opened up about his full vision for the live-action manga adaptation. In an interview with SyFy Wire, the producer said the franchise dug deep into what it means to be human.
“Battle Angel, I think, is a science fiction movie that begs the question ‘What does it mean to be human?’ It takes place in a future world, a world that has cyborgs, but are you human if you have a mind, if you have a heart, if you have a soul? It’s a journey of a young girl who tries to discover herself and what she learns upon that journey,” Cameron said.
If you are not familiar with Alita: Battle Angel, then you may know it by another name. The series is originally titled Battle Angel Alita and was made by Yukito Kishiro in 1990. The series itself is set in a post-apocalyptic future. It focuses on a cyborg named Alita who is brought back online after losing all her memories.
After being rebuilt by a cybernetic doctor named Daisuke Ido, Alita finds she remembers one piece of her past. The girl is versed in the legendary cyborg martial art Panzer Kunst, and Alita uses her skills to become a bounty hunter. The series then follows the heroine as she tries to relearn the events of her past whilst hunting down criminals.
Alita: Battle Angel is set to debut in July 2018. Robert Rodriguez directed the film with producers James Cameron and Jon Landau. Rosa Salazar plays Alita while other talent like Christoph Waltz, Jackie Earle Haley, Lana Condor, and Leonar Wu accompany.

Pokemon Movie Trailer to Be Revealed December 11th
Pokemon fans will get their first look at the upcoming anime movie on December 11th.
The Pokemon Company confirmed that a new trailer for the upcoming unnamed Pokemon anime movie will premiere on the Japanese variety show Oha Suta next Monday. We'll likely learn the movie's full title and get a glimpse of what threat Ash and Pikachu will have to face.
The new anime movie will likely be the first to be set in the Alola region, the tropical group of islands at which Ash and Pikachu are currently living and studying. Ash moved to the Alola region at the beginning of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon to study at a Pokemon school run by Professor Oak's cousin. Instead of traveling companions, Ash has several classmates who accompany him on various adventures, although he rarely makes extended trips due to his school travels.
Last year's movie, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You, was a retelling of Ash and Pikachu's first meeting and subsequent trip to meet the Legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh.
Next year's movie could also reveal a lot about the Pokemon franchise's immediate plans. If the movie uses the Mythical Pokemon Zeraora (which was found in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's code, but hasn't been officially revealed yet) or previously unseen Pokemon, it could indicate that the Pokemon franchise is about done with the current generation and is ready to move on to the hotly anticipated Pokemon Switch game. However, if new Pokemon don't make an appearance, it could mean that Pokemon fans should be prepared to wait a little longer.
We'll have more coverage of the new Pokemon movie next week, along with what it could mean for the Pokemon franchise.
